The First Sonata, written in E-la (E minor) consists of three movements: a. in sonata form, b. in lied form, c. in rondo form. The Second Sonata, written in C-so (C mixolydean) also consists of three movements: a. in sonata form, b. in lied form, c. in fugue form. The music is tonal and classical of character, but also inspired by the Jewish folk music, not too difficult to play and pleasing to the ears. |
